Structured Wiring is a combination of at least three or more of any of the facets of automation commencing at one location. The basic structured wiring combination is that of:
- Telephone
- Video(CATV)
- Local Area Network(LAN)
Although this is the basics of home automation, most homes in Southern Ontario do not have these minimum requirements . Within the past 5 years, home builders are starting to recognize the importance of structured wiring within the household.
